    1. Windows Explorer - Windows PC File Manager software - Manage Files
    2. Start>Right Click>Explore or
    3. Keystroke - Flag Key + "E"

  3. Start Your Site
    1. Create two folders in C:\My Documents
      1. Root Folder - rjkwebsite
      2. Sub-folder - images
      3. Home Page - index.html - Goes in Root Folder, but not in any sub-folders
      4. Each sub-folder can have an index.html page that will open by default. This may be confusing until you create a site or two.
    2. Dreamweaver's Site Manager - Main Menu > Site > Manage Sites > New > Site
    3. Site Dialog Box
      1. Local Site
        1. Root Folder  - Place this folder in the C:\Drive
        2. Edit in C:\
        3. Do not edit your Dreamweaver site in an external Drive - flash, CD-RW, Zip, etc.  You'll mess up all your links!!!!
      2. Remote Site
        1. Select FTP - File Transfer Protocol - Rules for transferring files across the Internet
          1. HTTP - Hypertext Transport Protocol
          2. SMTP - Simple Mail Transport Protocol
        2. Hostname - web4students.montgomerycollege.edu
        3. Login -
        4. Password - 8 digit alpha-numeric character
      3. Advanced Tab - Local Site - Designate Default Images Folder
