  1. Hour 6 - A little about Graphics
    1. Fireworks
    2. Image Types -
      1. .tif - Photoshop uses this format - images for print media
      2. .bmp - Bitmap files, Raster Graphics
      3. .fla - Flash vector graphic files.  Algorithym: 
        "Draw a line from x0,y0 to x200,y150; color it red"
      4. .jpeg or JPG - "Lossy" compressed images for the web. Use for photos - complex graphics with "40 Shades of Green."
      5. .gif - Use for "cartoon stills" with few colors, large areas of color;
      6. .png - "open-source bit-mapped gif format - Fireworks default; files usually too big for the web.
