Here's a way to use those really cool MC banners with a left navbar. Here's how to build the page:

1. Table (100% width) with 3 Cols, 3 Rows, Border-0, Cellpadding=0, Cellspacing=0
   1. Row 1 - "r_students" Banner in Merged Col 1,2
   2. Row 1 - MC Banner with white background in Col. 3
   3. Row 2 - LNavBar in Col 1
   4. Row 2 - Main Text in Merged Cols 2 and 3
