Sharon Anthony graduated from the University of Maryland summa cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, a specialized program that combined English and political science. She then went on to receive her Master's degree in education from the University of Maryland. Upon completing her studies, she taught English for five years, served as an adjunct professor of English at Montgomery College for two years, and then became an assistant professor of English at Montgomery College. She currently serves as the composition coordinator for the EN101/A program at the Germantown campus of Montgomery College and as an elected member of the Faculty Council. She teaches English courses ranging from developmental classes to EN101, 102, and 208.
