Biography
Sally Zimmermann has
been teaching in the Mathematics Department at the Germantown Campus since
2006. She attended McDaniel College
and graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa in 1982 with a BA degree in
Mathematics. After college, she worked
as a computer programmer for IBM. While
working for IBM, she earned a MS in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins
University in 1985. After the birth of her first child in 1989,
she was a stay-at-home mom. Before
coming to Montgomery
College, she was a
substitute teacher for MCPS in mathematics at the high school level.
Sally’s other
interests include supporting the local food movement and she is involved in a
100 family food club which purchases directly from local farms.
