Course Objectives:
1. To re-emphasize the English 101 goals of organization, clear presentation, and effective reasoning.
2. To complete an undergraduate-level research project from the formulation of a research question to the submission of a paper dealing with the question, well-finished in MLA format.
3. To use sound strategies of argument and good logic in your writing, and to avoid plagiarism..
4. To organize and support ideas in argumentative and expository prose.
5. To understand the grammatical principles essential to effective writing.

4. To learn to evaluate literary works as both products of particular time periods and universal models of human experience.
