Social Sciences EXPO 2021

The annual Social Sciences EXPO is an action-oriented, comprehensive one-stop shop for current and prospective students. Learn about our courses, degree programs, co-curriculars, and other activities in the social sciences. You can also get help with counseling, advising, and registration.
The 2021 Social Sciences EXPO is fully remote. Events will take place virtually via Zoom throughout the month of April. See the schedule below for event descriptions and registration links.
While the focus is on the social sciences, the EXPO events are open to all students. The nine social science disciplines offered at MC are Anthropology, Criminal Justice, Economics, Education, Geography, History, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology.
About the Social Sciences EXPO
Launched in April 2019, the Social Sciences EXPO is designed to increase student and community awareness of courses, degree programs, co-curriculars, and other activities in the social sciences. It is also designed to assist students with advising and registration through an incorporation of program advising, counseling and advising, and other units at the College.
Through the EXPO, we celebrate the faculty, staff, and students of these disciplines, and we reflect on the impact that the social sciences have on our personal, academic, and professional growth. Ultimately, the EXPO provides students with the information that will empower them to effectively advance their studies at Montgomery College, work toward an enhanced holistic student experience, and achieve a successful and timely completion.
