Dr. Jamin Bartolomeo
Dr. Bartolomeo brings over 15 years of experience within higher education. He is responsible for the following collegewide areas at the College: Admissions and Enrollment Management, Assessment Centers, Recruitment, Student Information Systems, and Raptor Central. Dr. Bartolomeo also conducts the Student Code of Conduct processes which includes academic, disciplinary, and suspension cases on the Germantown Campus.
Dr. Bartolomeo began his career at Montgomery College as a counseling faculty member, then department chair at the Takoma Park/Silver Spring Counseling Department; Associate Dean for the Germantown Campus, and most recently as the Collegewide Dean for Student Access and Germantown Student Affairs.
Prior to Montgomery College, Dr. Bartolomeo worked as an adjunct professor of the Psychology Department at the Community College of Baltimore County at the Essex Campus. There he taught General Psychology and Lifespan Psychology courses and mentored students pursuing degrees in the college’s nursing program.
Dr. Bartolomeo earned his doctorate of education, with a concentration in higher education administration, from The George Washington University. Additionally, he earned a master’s degree, with a concentration in counseling psychology, from Loyola University in Maryland and a bachelor’s degree, with a concentration in psychology and education, from McDaniel College.
