The Robert E. Parilla Performing Arts Center is the hub of cultural activity at the
Montgomery College Rockville campus. For the 2024 – 2025 season, patrons can select
from a wide variety of performances including music, drama, dance, and comedy. Discover
our Guest Artist Series, Saturday Morning Children’s Series, the College Performing
Arts Series, and the College Music Series.

Tuesday, September 9, 7:30 p.m.
Academy Award-winning Actress and Activist
Ms. Matlin will talk about the highs and lows of her career and journeys as an activist. In 1986, Ms. Matlin received the Academy Award for Best Actress for her film debut in Children of a Lesser God. She has starred in numerous television projects, including The West Wing. In 2022, Ms. Matlin made her directorial debut with the Fox TV drama, Accused and her film CODA won three Academy Awards, including Best Picture.

Friday, October 24, 7:30 p.m.
A Springsteen Celebration
Join us as life-long Bruce Springsteen fan Hank Azaria and the EZ Street Band take to the stage with their rocking tribute show to the Boss. Azaria is an acclaimed voice artist, perhaps best known for his work on The Simpsons. Now, he’s using his voice in a new and different way and having a blast entertaining people in a soul-lifting, full-tilt rock ’n roll event you don’t want to miss.

Tony and Primetime Emmy Award Winning Actress
Ms. Baranski will talk about her stage and screen work and her advocacy for a better future. Ms. Baranski received six Emmy nominations and two Critics’ Choice Television Award nominations for her performance as the formidable Diane Lockhart on the CBS series The Good Wife. She went on to star in the critically- acclaimed spinoff The Good Fight. Ms. Baranski can also be seen as Agnes Van Rhijn in the HBO series The Gilded Age.

Wednesday, March 4, 2026, 7:30 p.m.
The Sons of Mystro blends reggae classics, American pop hits, and original compositions
with their signature violin sound, backed by a DJ and drummer. Winners of the Emerging
Artist Award at the International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA), Sons of
Mystro continue to captivate audiences with their electrifying performances. Their
debut recording, Reggae Strings, is available on all streaming platforms. Watch them performnew window and learn more about them.
