MC is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and competes in the MDJUCO Athletic Conference. Participate in men’s and women’s intercollegiate competition or co-ed intramural sports and show off your Raptor pride.
The Department of Athletics offers nine intercollegiate sports—four for men (baseball, basketball, soccer, and track and field), and five for women (basketball, soccer, softball, track and field, and volleyball). MC also offers cheerleading and co-recreational sports.
With more than 150 student-athletes competing in nine sports, there is something all year to participate in. And our athletes don't stop competing here—in 2016, 25 athletes transferred to four-year institutions to continue their academic and athletic endeavors.
Outstanding athletic achievement as a student or coach while at or after leaving MC are criteria for being nominated into the MC Athletic Hall of Fame.
Do you have what it takes? Tom Bichy did. Read more about him and all our other inductees on the Hall of Fame Bio page.
