Whether you're new to MC or a returning student, we're here to help you plan your education and meet your academic goals. 

New Students

Meet with an advisor before registering for classes to make sure that the classes you take fit your academic plan and educational goals.

Are You Ready to Meet with an Advisor? 

To make the most of your first semester academic planning and advising appointment, make sure you've completed the steps below before scheduling your appointment.

Apply
Complete the admissions application and related admissions tasks. See Step One on the How to Enroll page for details. 

Activate Your MC Account and Determine Placement
Claim your MyMC account, check your email, and determine if you need to take placement tests. See Step Two on the How to Enroll page for details. 

Complete Orientation 
Complete New Student Orientation, Haven Training, the advising questionnaire, and academic orientation. See Step Three on the How to Enroll page for details. 

Make Your Advising Appointment 
Have you completed all the previous steps? If so, you're ready to meet with an advisor. Log in to Starfish, our online scheduling program, to make your advising appointment. 

 

Returning Students

Advising by Major

Meet with an instructional advisor who teaches in your major for advising tailored to your program of study.
