In this course you will learn about Microsoft Office 2007 for the first time or learn to improve your efficiency in the applications. Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint are covered at beginning levels.

Wingding   CATALOG DESCRIPTION Wingding

  Introduces computer concepts and techniques applicable to various disciplines. This course covers the most widely used software packages while providing students hands-on experience with current computer applications. Three hours each week.

Wingding   COURSE PREREQUISITES Wingding

  None, but CA106 or knowledge of Windows is strongly recommended. Assessment levels: EN101/101A, MA091, RD110.

  (required) Marquee Series (Paradigm Publishing) Microsoft Office 2007. ISBN 978-0-7638-2964-3

If you choose to purchase from somewhere other than the Rockville Montgomery College Bookstore (amazon.com or half.com) you can use ISBN 978-0-7638-2958-2. This book is different than the one used at other MC campuses, but the same as the in-person on the Rockville MC Campus. We will not be using the SNAP password that is bundled for free with the books purchased at the MC/Rockville bookstore.

  You will see all course requirements when you log into our course website. You will be able to access the course website through your MyMC in the WebCT Icon located at the top right of your MyMC screen about a week before the class begins. I will email enrolled students at their MC email address when I have opened the site for viewing.
