Welcome to MA180 - Multivariable Calculus,
Welcome to Math 280 - Multivariable Calculus. This course is concerned mainly with bringing the notions of differentiation and integration into a 3-dimensional setting. The primary areas of focus will be vectors and 3-dimensional space, vector-valued functions, functions of multiple variables, partial differentiation, multiple integration, and integration over vector fields.

CATALOG DESCRIPTION
Calculus of vector functions; analytic geometry of space; partial differentiation, multiple integrals, classical theorems of Green, Gauss, and Stokes.
COURSE PREREQUISITES
C or better in MA 182 (A or B highly recommended) or equivalent

ONLINE REQUIREMENTS
All homework assignments can be turned in online (preferred submission method is a .pdf scan of handwritten work), or homework can be faxed in (or dropped off at my office).
TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS
None beyond web access
ON-CAMPUS REQUIREMENTS
There are three 90 minute exams, and one two hour final exam. You may take these exams at any Montgomery College assessment center. Each exam is available for a period of one week.
