The Office of Distance Learning and the Rockville Communication Arts Technologies department are conducting a pilot program this year using Elluminate Live. This wonderful technology can open new doors for synchronous communication in online courses and other remotely delivered services. Using the virtual classroom, course sessions can be taught from anywhere to anywhere in real-time. Elluminate offers live audio/video, break-out discussions, and archived class sessions. Other uses include virtual office hours, tutoring, department and administrative meetings, advising, and professional development workshops. Call Anita Crawley at 240-567-6001 for more information or select additional Elluminate links on the left.
