Dear Colleagues--Magna publications has been posted on the Library's databases pages including:

• Databases by Subject at http://www.montgomerycollege.edu/library/fulltextremote.htm;

• A to Z List of Databases at http://www.montgomerycollege.edu/library/descriptions_dbs.htm;

• and the New Databases page at

http://www.montgomerycollege.edu/library/newdatabases.htm

http://www.montgomerycollege.edu/library/descriptions_dbs.htm.

This means that users can access these pages on or off campus without the need to create an individual login and password account if they don't want to. Access from off campus is controlled by our proxy server just like any other e-resource and users login with their MC ID#.

However, I understand that some faculty do want to create their own accounts so they will get alerts and other announcements pushed out to them automatically and this is possible as well. To do this, users need to:

• Go to http://www.magnapubs.com/aboutus/grouponlinereg.html

• Enter all required information.

• Enter the following Voucher Code: MONTGOMERY

• Enter MC’s PIN number: 3337

This last bit of information is proprietary and is not to be put on any public Web pages. It can be put behind intranets like the faculty tab in My MC if you so desire or by other strictly internal communication measures.
