The Maryland Distance Learning Association's annual conference will be held on March 4 - 5, 2008 at the Sheppard Pratt Conference Center (near Towson). The theme of this year's conference is "MDLA: A Network of Learning."
Please consider submitting a proposal to present at this year's conference in one of the following areas:
New and Emerging Technologies
Instructional Design
Best Practices
Student Success and Retention
Continuing Education
K-12 Distance Learning Initiatives
We will be also recognizing individuals and institutions for their contributions to distance learning. Consider nominating a colleague (or an institution) for one of these awards:
Distance Educator of the Year (Higher Education)
Distance Educator of the Year (K-12)
Distance Learning Program of the Year
Distance Learning Course of the Year
Instructional Designer of the Year
Distance Learning Administrator of the Year.
The nomination forms are attached. To submit a proposal, please visit the Maryland Distance Learning Association's website at <http://www.marylanddla.org/>. The deadline to submit proposals and nomination forms is Friday, December 14, 2007.
