Driving to Annapolis
The Lowe House Office Building, State House Complex can be accessed via Route 50. From the east take Exit 24A – Rowe Boulevard (MD-70 East). From the west take Exit 24 and merge onto Rowe Boulevard (MD-70 East).
Parking in Annapolis
Stadium:
For many visitors to the State Office Complex in Annapolis, the easiest parking and transportation option is to park at the Naval Academy Stadium and take the Annapolis Transit Trolley Shuttle into town. The stadium parking lot is located on Rowe Boulevard at the intersection of Rowe and Taylor Avenue. Enter the lot from Taylor Avenue. The cost is $5.00 for all day parking. Shuttles operate weekdays from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Trolleys arrive and depart frequently – every five minutes during rush hours and every ten to fifteen minutes off hours.
In Town:
The entrance to the Gotts Court Parking Garage is located on Calvert Street. From the stadium continue on Rowe Boulevard about one mile. Incoming traffic will veer to the right onto Calvert Street. Continue along Calvert and garage entrance will be on the left. After parking, walk on Northwest Street up to Church Circle. At the circle, turn left and walk down to College Avenue You will pass the James Senate Building on your left. From there, cross over Bladen Street and the building before you at the corner of Bladen and College Avenue is the Lowe House Office Building.
Entering the Lowe House Office Building
Enter the building from the main entrance of the new House Office Building on Bladen Street. Bring your driver’s license or other photo ID as you will be required to show identification to the guards. Your bags and briefcases will be subject to search. Leave at home all items that could be construed as a weapon, including scissors, metal nail files and other sharp objects.
