In any contact with a legislator, you must be sure to tell your own “story” about MC and ask them to protect access to MC. You may want to consult “Tips for Writing Letters” or “Tips for Phone Calls.” Below are some key points you can use to draft a letter, email or place a call to your elected official. If needed, you can consult the “Budget Background” or the “Fact Sheet” for additional information. Keep in mind, a brief personal email or letter is best. In fact, a few paragraphs will do the job!
