As we begin a new academic year, I take great pride in sharing with you the final official outcome of our Middle States reaccreditation process. The chair of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, Peter F. Burnham, has notified the College that the Commission, at its session on June 26, 2008, acted "To reaffirm accreditation and to commend the institution for the quality of the self-study process and report". This action applies to all of our campuses. The full text of the Commission's actions may be accessed here.
This is indeed an outcome in which we can take great pride. At a time when many institutions are asked to provide follow-up reports, this unconditional accreditation affirms the strength and integrity of our institution as we continue to critically assess ourselves in our efforts to assure that our students succeed and excel.
