Course Description:    Facilitates the student's entry into the nursing program and the health care delivery system. Emphasis is placed on the nursing process and critical thinking skills. The evolution of nursing and nursing education is discussed. Health policy, politics and legal issues are introduced. Ethics and values of healthcare are examined. (T only) PREREQUISITE: Admission to the nursing program or consent of program coordinator. PRE- or COREQUISITE: NU 121. COREQUISITE: NU 110. One hour each week.
