Course Description: This course builds on the concepts introduced in NU 123. Complex alterations in physiologic processes are studied as they relate to multiple body systems. The related nursing care and pharmacologic principles are integrated throughout the course. (T only) PREREQUISITES: Admission into the nursing program or permission of the department, a grade of C or better in NU 123, NU 124, and BI 205, and mathematics foundation course. PRE- or COREQUISITES: BI 203 and EN 102. Four hours lecture/discussion, 12 hours laboratory each week. |
