Offering the same content as our analog (in-the-classroom) classes, you can participate for full college credit, or non-credit; your choice! | CA 120 Computer Applications I is an introductory course in word processing, spreadsheet, and database management. This online section taught via the World Wide Web provides students with a flexible and independent way to learn the basics of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access. | CA 141(formerly CA 241) Introduction to Database Management is an intermediate course in database management concepts using Microsoft Access. Delivered via the World Wide Web, this online section will teach students how to create and maintain tables, set up queries, create custom forms and reports, and control user access to a database through the development of a switchboard. The virtual English 102 classroom is a password protected conference site where students discuss their readings and research by writing to other English 102 students, and to students from a select group of other colleges and universities around the country. | Homesteading on the WWW Homesteading on the WWW is an exciting course that will explore some of the newest and fun ways to handle and create Web pages. The course builds on the knowledge gained in Exploring the Internet, and covers the advanced features of searching, maximizing the effective use of your browser, Basic HTML, and working with a Web Authoring Program. This course will concentrate on how to make the basic home page that you started in Exploring the Internet more polished and complete.
