THE MONSTER WHO ATE MY PEAS
An Artspower Presentation
Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 11 a.m.
What would you do to avoid eating your vegetables? In ArtsPower’s newest musical, a young boy doesn’t want to eat his peas. When a crafty monster appears underneath his kitchen table, the boy is ready to make a deal with him. If the monster eats his peas, the boy will give him any of his possessions. First, the monster wants the boy’s soccer ball. Next, he wants the boy’s bike. When the monster demands more toys, will the boy refuse and face his own fears? Based on the multi-award winning book written by Danny Schnitzlein and illustrated by Matthew Faulkner, children and adults will be thoroughly entertained and engaged by the wonderfully written and funny tale about the value of will power.
Recommended for ages 4 and up - Tickets are $7 Adults, $6 Seniors, Students & Children
