Through workforce training and continuing education, Montgomery College educates the next generation of employees for Montgomery County and for the State of Maryland. We also partner with schools, businesses and community groups to develop and provide programs that will meet the needs of our neighbors. Montgomery College began in 1946 with a class of only 186 students. In more than a half century, we have never lost sight of our mission to educate our community. Today, we are proud to have helped nearly a half million students reach their educational goals.
