2017 MC Scholarship Recipients Say Thank You
Black Friday. Cyber Monday. Giving Tuesday. Every day is a good day to invest in the
future of our students and our community!
The Montgomery College Foundation provided over $2.1 million in private scholarships
to more than 1,800 students during the 2016–2017 academic year, thanks to generous
individual, corporate, and foundation donors. These figures represent the skyrocketing
need for student support.
Regretfully, the foundation had to turn down hundreds of additional qualified scholarship
applicants due to limited funds. Support our mission by making a life-changing investment
in our students. Click here to give online.
Achieving Collegiate Excellence and Success (ACES)
The Achieving Collegiate Excellence and Success program (ACES) helps local students
graduate from high school, succeed at MC, and be prepared to complete their bachelor’s

Courtney Clark Pastrick, chairman of the board of the A. James & Alice B. Clark Foundation,
is investing $500,000 over five years for 10 to 20 MC engineering students each year.
This transformational gift helps prepare MC students for America’s need for high-achieving
