Dear Colleagues,

The Center for Teaching and Learning at Montgomery College is a faculty professional development organization whose main mission is to support the art of teaching via program-based activities that encourage faculty creativity, innovation, and continuous professional improvement that blends modern technology and a plethora of instructional strategies to enhance students learning.  In an effort to operate on the frontier of our mission, CTL provides a yearly conference for faculty professional development.  This conference attracts professionals, within and outside Montgomery College, to share their expertise.  In keeping with our goal of sharing best teaching practices along with modern educational technology, we would like to invite you to attend our yearly conference, Super Saturday.   This year Super Saturday will be held November 1, 2008, on the Germantown campus of Montgomery College in the Globe Hall, High Tech Center.  The title of the conference is “The Power of Diversity Education: Charting the Course to Educational Equity, Valuing Our Cultures, Achieving Academic Excellence and Social Justice.”
