Opportunities

Hear and see what your peers have done and share your successes through the CTL.

  • Exchange instructional ideas with other faculty members
  • Apply for a CTL fellowship to improve classroom and distance education techniques
  • Present or attend roundtables and workshops
  • Work individually with instructional designers, and instructional assistants or CTL associates
  • Participate in the Faculty Showcase
  • Present and/or attend conferences such as Success Forum and Super Saturday
  • Full-time and part-time participation
  • Write articles for the CTL newsletter, Focus on Faculty
  • Facilitate and participate in a professional development programs offering for new faculty

Technology available through the CTL allows faculty to:

  • Use the multimedia workstations found throughout the college
  • Scan text and images into course materials
  • Transfer material to CD-ROM format
  • Experiment with new software
  • Transfer instructional material to digital
  • Utilize audio and video on the web and podcasting
  • Development and enhancement of Power Point presentations
