• Montgomery College Diversity Plan - Our College roadmap for sustaining diversity and inclusive excellence.   

• Maryland Statutes and Code - The Board of Trustees of Montgomery College derives its authority from Title 16 of the Education Article of the Annotated Code of The Public General Laws of Maryland, which provides the legal basis for the control and administration of Maryland’s community colleges.

• Maryland Public Information Act - Maryland’s Public Information Act grants the people of this State a broad right of access to public records while protecting legitimate governmental interests and the privacy rights of individual citizens.

• Maryland Open Meetings Act - Public and news media access to the meetings of public bodies granted by Maryland's Open Meetings Act ensures the accountability of government to the citizens of the State. 

• State Ethics Commission - The goals of the State Ethics Commission as established in the State Ethics Law, State Government Article, Title 15, are to insure that the public has the highest trust in its officials and employees and to assure the public that impartiality and independence of judgment is maintained; to prevent the conduct of State business from being subject to improper influence or even the appearance of improper influence; and to guard against improper influence by administering public disclosure programs and a program establishing standards of conduct for employees and officials.
