A Celebration of Student Success

Every year Montgomery College has the distinct privilege of celebrating  outstanding students and artists, student scholars, honor society members, and state and national award winners. This year is no exception. These students continue to strive for academic excellence. And excellence they achieved – some earning departmental recognition, some earning competitive internships, others being named the Presidential Scholar for their respective campuses and still others earning monetary scholarships to continue their education. The Honors and Awards Convocation is the culminating celebration of hours, months, and even years of hard work for these students and their family, friends, faculty and staff that supported them along the way. It is a high point of their academic journey here at Montgomery College. We are all so very proud of these students and recognize how deserving each is of the award they are receiving. We applaud you students for a job more than well done. Congratulations!

Honors & Awards Convocation Webpage by Campus

Each campus has created a webpage to provide more information about the awards and honors these students have received.  In many cases, a brief statement about the winning student from the nominating faculty member has been included on the webpage. There is a complete write up about the Presidential Scholar and all members of Phi Theta Kappa are listed alphabetically. The Honors Program awards, internships, and scholarships, are blended into each site based on the student’s designated “home” campus.
