  • August 26: Official beginning of academic year; faculty return for professional days
  • September 2: College closed for Labor Day holiday
  • September 3: Fall semester classes begin
  • September 7-8: Fall semester weekend classes begin
  • November 27: No classes for students; non-instructional duty day for faculty 
  • November 28-December 1: College closed for Thanksgiving holiday
  • December 16-22: Final exams week
  • December 22: Official end of fall semester
  • December 23-January 1: Winter break; College closed
  • December 23: Online only classes begin
  • January 6: Campus-based and short session online classes begin
  • January 20: College closed for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., holiday
  • January 24: Winter session classes end
  • December 23: Official beginning of spring semester
  • January 20: College closed for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., holiday
  • January 21: Faculty return for professional days
  • January 27: Spring semester classes begin
  • February 1-2: Spring semester weekend classes begin
  • March 16-22: Spring recess for students and faculty
  • March 20: Spring break; College closed
  • March 23: Remote teaching and learning will continue through the end of the spring semester.
  • May 2: The College will transition to a period designed to help students in need of academic support and assessment. This assistance and assessment period will last from May 4 to May 13. The length of the semester will not change, but—due to the disruptions caused by this emergency—the College is devoting this special period to ensure that students and faculty are able to transition successfully to remote teaching and learning.
  • May 18-22: Non-instructional duty days for faculty
  • May 22: Official end of spring semester/academic year
  • May 25-June 5: Some faculty will be assigned to work with any students planning to transfer who may have incompletes as a result of disruptions to the spring semester.
  • May 25: Official beginning of summer sessions
  • May 25: College closed in observance of Memorial Day holiday
  • June 8: Summer session I classes begin and run through July 10. Courses will be online only.
  • July 3: College closed for Independence Day holiday
  • July 11: Summer Session II classes begin and run through August 21. It will consist of a combination of online and face-to-face courses—assuming that the public health emergency allows for this.
  • August 21: Official end of summer sessions
