Support Programs and Learning Centers

At Montgomery College, we're dedicated to helping all students succeed. We offer a variety of programs designed to give students the mentoring and support they need to reach their goals. 

Sister 2 Sister

This mentoring program supports and promotes academic success and personal enrichment for first semester, African-American women at Montgomery College. 

Boys to Men

Specifically for African American/Black Male students, this mentoring program  fosters academic success, student activism, and personal responsibility.

Combat 2 College

This comprehensive program provides veterans, active-duty service members, and reservists with specialized academic support and opportunities. 

 

Achieving Collegiate Excellence and Success (ACES)

A collaborative effort between MC, MCPS, and the Universities at Shady Grove, ACES supports students and provide a seamless path to a bachelor's degree.

Achieving the Promise Academy (ATPA)

This collegewide program keeps students on track to earning their degrees.

Academic Learning Centers

Academic learning centers are located on each campus, offering services and support to help students meet the rigors of academic coursework.

TRiO Support Services

This grant-funded program is designed to help students remain in school until graduation or transfer to a four-year college or university.

Disability Support Services

DSS provides accommodations and support services for students with documented disabilities.
