Dr. Kimberly Myers is the Vice President for the Future of Work and Economic Mobility. The role of Vice President for the Future of Work and Economic Mobility serves as a senior academic leader, advisor, and collaborator, working closely with the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs/College Provost, campus deans, academic leadership, faculty, and cross-divisional partners. The role emphasizes strategic alignment, institutional coherence, and capacity-building with business and industry partners.

Dr. Myers comes to us from Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKYCTC) serving as the dean of workforce solutions since 2017.  Her successes include growing SKYCTC’s workforce training portfolio from $150K to $2M, expanding employer engagements, workforce pathways, and regional talent development initiatives. She also built and scaled strategic partnerships with over 100 employers, aligning workforce programs, career pathways, and talent pipelines with labor market demand. She collaborated across academic and workforce divisions to align credit, non-credit, and employer-connected programming with regional workforce and economic mobility priorities. Previous to her work with SKYCTC, Dr. Myers built and led a multi-office financial services organization responsible for operations, compliance and revenue growth with Primerica, Inc. as regional vice president.

Dr. Myers earned a bachelor of arts and a master of science in mathematics from Western Kentucky University, and a doctor of education in curriculum and instruction from the University of Cincinnati.
