Employee Resources
As of November 8, 2021, the College returned to full on-site staffing.
Vaccination and Testing Requirements
The employee vaccination requirement took effect November 8. Ninety-seven percent of MC employees are fully vaccinated. Three percent received medical or religious exceptions and are taking weekly COVID-19 tests.
- Current and New Employees:
Submit Vaccination Proof or Exception Request
- Employees with Approved Exceptions:
Submit Weekly Test Results
For more information, see Employee Vaccination Requirements and Testing and Quarantine Information.
Daily Health Self-Assessment and Face Masks
Regardless of vaccination or testing status, all employees must continue to complete and submit the daily health assessment before coming to work.
Effective Monday, March 28, masks will become optional for students, faculty, staff, contractors, vendors, and visitors inside College buildings and facilities. Masks will continue to be required in all classroom settings, including laboratories, learning centers, and other instructional spaces. Instructors may remove their masks while teaching provided they use good judgment to maintain appropriate distance from students. Find out more about mask policy and important exceptions.
Return-to-Campus Exceptions
Being approved for a medical or religious vaccination exception does not automatically qualify an employee for a remote work assignment.
If an employee’s medical condition prevents them from working onsite, they need to seek an accommodation through HRSTM at EmployeeExceptionRequests@montgomerycollege.edu.
Telework and Flexible Work Arrangements
As of November 8, 2021, the College allows telework agreements with a maximum of one day per week for employees in eligible positions. Employees must request teleworking through the standard process and can begin once the request is approved.
Beginning February 21, 2022, regular telework agreements of up to three days maximum per week will be available for employees in eligible positions.
