Early Childhood Education
Informational, innovative, and inspiring courses to help early childhood educators foster their love of learning and improve their instructional skills. These courses will enhance your professional skills while working with young children. Provide opportunities to meet the educational requirements for operating a family and center-bases child care facility, earn clock hours and CEUs for training and licensing requirements, or prepare for applying for the CDA credential.
Montgomery College, through the Guardian Grant, is offering 90 hours in Child Care Administration and Business Practices. Classes will start in January 2020. Cost is $75.00. If you are interested in this program please email Nelida Andres to express your interest in the program. You will be notified if you are accepted into the program.

On-Site Early Childhood Education Training Available
Most of the Early Childhood Education classes in English and Spanish can also be offered as customized/contract training classes to fit the needs of your organization. All of these classes meet the Maryland State Department of Education Training requirements. We provide CEU certificates for successful course completion. If you are interested in customized/contract training classes, we will be happy to analyze your training needs, design a training program that addresses your unique requirements and provide faculty who are subject matter experts with industry experience.

Montgomery College Advancing Child Care Teachers Toward Completion-ACCTTC (Early Childhood Education Club). The purpose of the club is to help students reach their goals to be early childhood educators by networking with one another, serving the early childhood community, and building hands on experiences with young children. Earn PAUs.
Meetings are on the first Friday of each month during the academic year on the Rockville Campus at 7 p.m. in 152 SC.
