Peer Navigators
Peer Navigators support their peers in the battle against food and basic needs insecurities. They aid in the Wellness Center’s Health, Human Services, and Nutrition programming providing support for the Mobile Markets, food pantries, other Fuel for Success Food Campaign Initiatives, educational programs, and other initiatives.

- Personal Information: My name is Muhammad Aziz and it’s my last semester in MC.
- Major Career Path: My major is Info science and I plan on getting my bachelors with a major of Info science and a minor of business.
- Hobbies and Interests: My hobbies are playing sports such as Wrestling and soccer which I really enjoy playing with my friends. I am excited to work as a peer navigator in MC and showcase my skills in assisting my fellow college mates.

- Personal Information: My name is Ishara. I am from Srilanka, an Island in the Indian Ocean.
- Major Career Path: I am majoring in Homeland Security and plan to continue at the University of Maryland. I also plan to start my own business while pursuing my degree.
- Hobbies and Interests: I love to travel to new places and bring souvenirs from the places I visit. I love to do DIY crafts, painting, and stitching.
- Tips for Their Peers: Some of the tips I have followed over the years as a student is time management. As a mom of two children under 5 years, I plan my work ahead of time and I stick to my timetable which resulted in my success in college.

- Personal Introduction: Hi my name is Isabel Henriquez, and I am Honduran. As a First-Generation student I attend Montgomery College because of the community and the values it holds.
- Major/Intended Career Path: My major is currently Business, but it will become Accounting once I transfer out of MC. My goal is to attend UMD’s School of Business where I plan on earning my bachelor’s degree and perhaps pursue my master’s as well. Once I have achieved all of this, I hope to become an advisory accountant in the future.
- Hobbies and Interests: My personal interests are dance, music, and food. I take dance classes such as salsa, bachata, and mambo when I have free time. It introduces me to new music, rhythms, and styles of dance. I love trying new food and I enjoy sharing all my experiences with my friends and family.
- Tips for My Peers: As I enter my second year at MC, I want to emphasize how helpful a planner is. It helps me with time management and maintaining a balance between my personal life and school. Lastly, check your emails! Most of the time emails provide opportunities to get free snacks, tutoring, financial assistance, and so much more. MC has many great resources but we as students must utilize them to ensure an enjoyable student experience.
