Take an Online Class or Earn an Online Associate's Degree or Certificate

Our robust support system for online learners includes online counseling, online advising, and online tutorials, and our distance education students can come to any of our campuses to use the academic learning centers, libraries, advising services, and more. Is Online Learning Right for Me?
Online learning requires active pursuit of education. No one will be sending you anything to get started and keep up. Like with any course, you'll need to stay disciplined and on track throughout the semester in order to succeed. Our Online Learning Pre-Assessment Tool will help you determine your level of readiness for taking online courses. This easy, informative quiz takes about 10 to 15 minutes to complete and will help you understand your strengths and weaknesses so you can become a more successful online student.
Can I Earn an Associate's Degree Online?
Yes. You can complete one of six associate's degrees fully online at Montgomery College: Business, Computer Science and Technologies, Criminal Justice (AA and AAS), General Studies, and Early Childhood Education Technology. The online programs follow the same curriculum as the traditional degree programs and are taught by expert faculty trained in online learning. In addition, MC offers two fully-online certificate programs: Hospitality and Supervision and Leadership and Women's and Gender Studies.
How Much Does It Cost?
