MCTV received the following Awards from the Alliance for Community Media, Telly, and Communicator. MCTV's award-winning production team produces video content that highlights Montgomery College programs and Montgomery College events.
Hometown Media Awards
We are excited to announce Montgomery College Television has been named a national Overall Excellence in Educational Access Winner from the Alliance for Community Media Foundation’s Hometown Media Awards program!
About the Hometown Media Awards
The Hometown Media Awards is the Foundation of the Alliance for Community Media Foundation’s yearly awards program. It is established to honor and promote community media, community radio, and local cable programs that are distributed on Public, Educational and Governmental (PEG) access cable television channels.
Each year, nearly one thousand entries are submitted. Awards are presented to the most creative programs that address community needs, develop diverse community involvement, challenge conventional commercial television formats and move viewers to experience television in a different way.
