Description

Java is one of the most popular programming languages out there. This course covers an overview of object oriented programming, and will provide you with a basic foundation in Java. Topics include Java language essentials, Java Software Development Kit (J2SDK), and simple standalone text and graphics applications in Java.

Prerequisites

Programming fundamentals or equivalent experience. Knowledge of another programming language is helpful but not required.

Objectives

Install and use Java Software Development Kit.
Use standalone text and graphics applications in Java.
Basic foundation in Java.
