A memorandum was just released by Montgomery College President, Dr. DeRionne Pollard stating that the College will not hold classes on Thursday, March 12; Friday, March 13; and Saturday, March 14.

In accordance with this notice, your course sessions scheduled during these dates will be moved to LIVE ONLINE sessions. We will reach out to you  by 12:00 p.m. noon Thursday with information regarding registering for online sessions or any updates that need to be shared about the sessions.

The PMP® Exam is Changing July 1, 2020

The Project Management Institute (PMI) released a new PMP® Exam Content Outline (ECO) on June 30, 2019 that will take effect July 1, 2020. The new ECO helps PMI ensure that the PMP® exam reflects the current practices of project managers around the world.

Our Spring 2020 PMP® Exam Prep Courses will be the last offered before the change.

Certification and PDU / Open Enrollment Descriptions: 

This track thoroughly prepares students for the Project Management Institute (PMI)® certification exam. The certification is designed for experienced project managers with a minimum of 4,500-7,500 hours of project management experience who want to elevate their skills, increase marketability and apply a standards-based approach to project management across industries.

The course sequence below for the PMP® Track must be taken in the correct order:

  1. Project Management Fundamentals, PMC-019
  2. A Practical Approach to Project Management, PMC-013
  3. Project Management Professional (PMP)® Certification Prep, PMC-004

This track is designed for those with less than 3 years of experience in project teams or project management. The certification increases your marketability and shows commitment to project management.

The course sequence below for the CAPM® Track must be taken in the correct order:

  1. Project Management Fundamentals, PMC-019
  2. A Practical Approach to Project Management, PMC-013
  3. Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® Exam Prep, PMC-002

We offer courses to fulfill the required continuing education courses or PDUs for individuals with the PMP® certification. These courses are also offered as open enrollment courses for students looking to obtain new skills or develop ones they already have.

New: Six Sigma Greenbelt Professional
Learn skills that will allow you to effectively drive process improvement efforts within your organization as a Six Sigma Green Belt professional.
