Youth School Year Programs
Youth School Year Programs provide a variety of enrichment programs for youth grades 1-12. Kids' College programs are usually for 6-8 weeks after school or on weekends, and classes vary by semester.
Available Online Support for Math and Science Spring 2021
Montgomery College Youth Programs is offering three ways to help you with your math

Essential Series (part of Kids' College)
Sessions involve direct instruction by a Yang Academy instructor. In these classes,
students will review essential content and refine their problem solving skills. Subjects
offered include Algebra 1, Biology, Chemistry, Geometry,
Physics, and Pre-Algebra. ($155 + $30 fee = $185; NMR add $25).
Study Sessions (Part of Kids' College)
These are designed for students to receive and offer math academic support from each
other and from Yang Academy Instructors. In this model, students help each other under
the direction of an instructor. Students will ask questions, which other students
or the instructor can answer. This is not direct instruction. Subjects offered include
Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus.
($82 + $30 fee = $112; NMR add $25)
Online Small Group Tutoring
This is for students to receive individual tutoring help from a Yang Academy instructor. Each group will have a maximum of four students, grouped by subject. Each student will receive individual tutoring. Subjects offered include Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Learn more about youth tutoring options.

Kids' College
Kids' College provides enrichment classes for grades 1-12 after school and on weekends. Topics vary seasonally.
For Spring we are excited to offer a full range of online courses for students in first through twelfth grade. We have classes to supplement learning in schools, as well as enrichment classes to allow students to try something new.

For Ages 12–18
Help in algebra 1, algebra 2, geometry, pre-calculus, biology, chemistry and physics
is here! Come join a few other students in after school tutoring sessions. Each group will
have a maximum of four students, grouped by subject. You will receive individual tutoring
up to 15 minutes at a time, twice during each 1.5-hour session. During the 15-minute
time interval, a qualified tutor works with one student only. Other students may listen
but cannot interrupt. Bring your homework questions, questions from class, or get
extra practice to reinforce your learning. For more information, contact ya@yangacademy.com.

Math and Science Tutoring Flyer (PDF, )
Once you register, you will receive an email asking you to select the math and science class that your student is currently taking in school. This will allow us to better prepare for tutoring.
And you will also receive instructions on how to pay for the class.

Piano Fun
Semi-Private Online Classes for Children and Teens.
Small group piano lessons for children and teens. Lessons range from beginner to advanced.
Classes run for about three months in the Fall and the Spring. To learn more visit
