From the South:Take I-495 to I-270 North. Take Exit 9A toward Gaithersburg Town Center. Bear right onto Route 355 heading north. Go approximately 1.5 miles. Turn right onto Summit Avenue. Go about 0.1 miles and turn left onto Olde Towne Avenue. Turn right into parking garage.

From the North: Take I-270 South to Exit 11 (Montgomery Village Avenue). Turn left off the ramp onto Montgomery Village Avenue. Turn right at second traffic light. Go approximately 1.5 miles. Turn left onto Summit Avenue. Go about 0.1 miles and turn left onto Olde Towne Avenue. Turn right into parking garage.

Students can get here by Metro Red line to Shady Grove Station. Take the #55 Ride-On North on Rt. 355, get off the bus at Summit Avenue. Go right two blocks toward Gaithersburg City Hall. GBTC is at 12 South Summit Ave., 4th Floor.

By Bus
The center is served by Ride-On Bus which stops two blocks from GBTC.

By Car
From Maryland or Virginia via I-495 Beltway: 

EITHER use Exit 31A (Northbound -- marked Georgia Avenue/Wheaton). Travel approx. 2 miles thru residential areas on Georgia Avenue. Then bear left on Veirs Mill Road as you enter the Wheaton business district, and left again onto Westfield Shoppingtown (Wheaton Plaza) grounds. Westfield South Office building is at the rear of the lot, past the end of the main mall buildings and garage.

OR use Exit 33A (Northbound – marked Connecticut Avenue/Kensington). Travel approx. 2 to 3 miles thru residential areas on Connecticut Avenue. Continue in the right lane after entering the Kensington business district, and take the right fork onto University Boulevard. Continue on University Boulevard approx. 2 miles to right turn onto Westfield Shoppingtown grounds. Keep right on parking lot loop road halfway round to Westfield South office building near the far end of the mall building.

From DC: Take 16th Street North to Georgia Avenue North, continue on Georgia until you pass under I-495 (Beltway), then follow Georgia/Wheaton instructions above.

Take the Red Line to the Wheaton Stop. Westfield Shoppingtown is located across Georgia Avenue. From the Silver Spring Metro Bus Station, take the Q2, Y8, and Y6 bus to reach Westfield Shoppingtown. Westfield South Office building is at the rear of the lot, past the end of the main mall buildings and garage.
