Required Training
Montgomery College offers collegewide training on racial equity
The training is required for Administrators, Department Chairs, Full-time Faculty, Staff, and Temps w/ Benefits. It is recommended for Part-time Credit and WDCE Faculty, as well as Casual Temporary and Student Workers.
For FY23, the theme of the training is "The Journey to Becoming an Anti-racist Institution." Participants will learn the definition of anti-racism and how to raise awareness and embrace our role as we shift our college culture by providing access to resources, updating policies and procedures, hiring and retaining employees, and enabling academic excellence for marginalized populations.
The training will be available online through Workday beginning in January 2023 , and it is available in-person now. Read below to find dates and locations for in-person training.
