Learning Centers

Spring 2024: To continue to provide safe and accessible support, the Learning Centers will offer both virtual and in-person tutoring and support services. Check each center’s website for hours and availability. Email the Learning Centers for assistance.

Accudemianew window is the new scheduling system for MC learning centers. You can use Accudemianew window to make tutoring appointments, meet with a tutor online, and receive written feedback.

The Learning Centers at Montgomery College are here to ensure your success as you pursue your academic goals. MC offers a variety of services and supports through our discipline-specific Learning Centers to help students meet the rigors of academic coursework.

You will benefit from an array of academic support services provided in comfortable and collaborative centers designed to support your academic development and enhance your achievement. Data shows students who use the Learning Centers early and often are more successful than those who do not. 

We're here to help you with tutoring, graphic calculator loan program, study group areas, textbook loans, MC-provided computers and software, and much more.

Multilingual Support:

Support in these additional languages may be available in the learning centers: Amharic, Arabic, Armenian, Bengali, Bulgarian, Cambodian, Cantonese, Ewe, Farsi, French, Greek, Haitian Creole, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin Chinese, Nepali, Oromo, Punjabi, Romanian, Russian, Sinhala, Spanish, Tagalog, Taiwanese, Tigrigna, Turkish, Urdu, Vietnamese, and Yoruba. Virtual Tutoring

If you need a little extra help but can't make it to one of our learning centers in person, we're here for you. Online support is available for FREE to MC students. All you need is a computer or a mobile device with an internet connection.

Workshops

The Writing, Reading, and Language Centers, Academic Success Center, Learning Support Services and MC Library are proud to offer this collaborative series of workshops. Digital Learning Centers

Our Digital Learning Centers on the Rockville and Takoma Park/Silver Spring campuses provide students with Windows and Mac workstations for their academic work. The Centers provide support that helps students develop and expand their digital literacy skills, including use of Windows and Macs, MS Office 2016, MS Office 365, Skype, Blackboard, and College provided computer resources for student use. The Centers provide workshops on the use of software packages like Microsoft Office, and they promote safe computing practices.
