Learning Skills Support Services

Academic Support for Health Sciences Students

We provide academic support for students enrolled in any of our health sciences programs. Our services include: 

  • Academic study consultation
  • Referrals to college resources
  • TEAS information sessions
  • College success skills workshops
  • Customized help based on individual student needs
  • Workshops in time management, note-taking skills, effective study skills, test-taking skills and strategies, TEAS preparation help, and organizational tactics

Location: Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus, HC 126
Hours: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. 

Appointments are strongly encouraged. Walk-ins are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays on a first-come, first-serve basis and are subject to change.
