Adult ESOL Schedule of Classes

The Adult ESOL Program provides basic English language instruction to county residents whose native language is not English.

Adult ESOL Class Application Form: Summer 2 Session, 2022
  • Applications for the Summer 2 session of classes will close on May 23, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. EST.

Requirements for Adult ESOL Students

  • You must take an in-person CASAS test to be placed in a class (online or in-person).
  • You must live in Maryland to take these classes.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to take these classes.
  • All classes are free except for the Advanced ESOL class. If you are placed in the Advanced class, you will be required to pay $100 for tuition.
  • Students with F1 or J1 visa cannot take classes in this program. Contact ESL-Rockville@montgomerycollege.edu, if you have a F1 or J1 visa and want to take ESOL classes.
All students must have a Covid-19 vaccination or approved exception to take in-person classes.
