Artificial Intelligence is transforming the cybersecurity landscape and reshaping how organizations defend against and respond to cyber threats. This course bridges the gap between emerging AI technologies and enterprise security operations. Designed for individuals interested in securely and responsibly integrating AI into cybersecurity practices, the course also prepares students for the CompTIA SecAI+ certification exam.
Topics include AI fundamentals, AI security principles, governance and compliance, risk management, ethical AI practices, and the use of AI for threat detection and automation.
Prerequisites
Cybersecurity Practitioner (ITI493), CompTIA Security+ certification, or equivalent work experience.
Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to identify and analyze AI security threats and vulnerabilities; detect and prevent adversarial attacks and prompt injections; secure AI models and data pipelines; apply AI risk management and governance practices; monitor AI systems for threats and anomalies; perform incident response for AI-related attacks; and understand AI security frameworks and best practices.
