Come on a culinary journey throughout the world. Each day, we will explore a different part of the world learning about the culture, history, and food! Students will learn a new cooking technique or method and apply it to the cuisine of the day. Monday: Italian, Tuesday: Asian, Wednesday: South American, Thursday: Eastern European, and Friday: Fusion. Students will not only learn how to make recipes from these parts of the world, but will also research the history, cultures, languages, and customs. On the last day, students will be encouraged to develop recipes of their own, in order to showcase how influences from different cultures can be used to create a whole new type of cuisine called Fusion. If you love trying new foods, working with exotic ingredients, and learning about other cultures, this is the camp for you! Using the professional Marriott Hospitality Kitchen at MC.
