Junior Chef Workshop

Want to be the next Master Chef and open up your very own restaurant? Come learn the basics! In this five-day session, you will learn all of the essential kitchen skills needed to master the fundamentals of cooking. We will cover all of the basics of cooking such as how to handle knives, how to read and follow recipes, measuring and mixing, and the importance of kitchen safety. Each day, students will learn how to make a variety of recipes from the following categories: appetizers, salads, entrees, and desserts. Students will also learn how to choose recipes in order to create and design menus of their own. On the final day, students will prepare a menu of their favorite recipes from each category, as if they were opening a restaurant of their own!
