Youth Refund and Transfer Policy

New Summer Youth Transfer and/or Withdrawal Policies!

Be advised that there have been substantial changes to our refund policies for withdrawing / transferring students from a Youth Summer Programs course / camp within 32 days of the start date of the class. These Youth refund policies differ from and supercede refund policies for all other non-Youth classes.

*Partial refund (50% if camp cost or $75.00 whichever is greater) if the space in camp can be filled by start of class.

Transfer Requests

Transfer requests must be submitted in writing and received by the dates indicated above. The fees for transfer are as follows:

  • First transfer is done without charge if received no later than 12:00pm noon at least two weeks before the Friday preceding the start of the class.
  • Second and each additional transfer will be charged $20.00 if received by noon, at least two weeks before the Friday preceding the start of the class.
  • No transfers will be permitted after noon, less than two weeks before the Friday preceding the start of the class unless the class is canceled by Montgomery College.

Drop / Withdrawal Requests

Drop Class / Withdrawal request must be submitted in writing and received by the dates indicated above. The fees for drop / withdrawal are as follows:

  • Any withdrawal request received by noon at least four weeks before the Friday preceding the start date of the class will receive a full refund.
  • Any drop / withdrawal request received by 12:00pm noon, less than four and at least three weeks before the Friday preceding the start of the class, will be assessed  $75.
  • Any drop / withdrawal request received by 12:00pm noon, less than three and at least two weeks before the Friday preceding the start of the class, will be assessed 50% or the cost of the camp or $75, whichever is greater.
  • No refunds will be given for any drop / withdrawal request after 12:00pm noon, less than two weeks before the Friday preceding the start of the class unless their spot is filled by the start of the class. (Filled is defined as registered and payment confirmation issued.) *A partial refund will be issued (50% of camp cost or $75.00 whichever is greater) if the space in camp can be filled by start of class.
