NEWS UPDATE FOR CURRENT F-1 VISA HOLDER AND ONLINE CLASSES DURING THE 2022-2023 ACADEMIC YEAR:
The Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) have extended the guidance that enables F1 students to engage in distance learning more than the regulatory limits of 3 credits due to the continuing public health concerns created by COVID-19 for the 2022-2023 Academic Year.  For detailed information, please visit Guidance for the 2022-2023 Academic Yearnew window.

Tax Obligations in the US

If you are in F or J status (including F-2 and J-2), US law requires that you complete and submit tax forms for each year that you reside here, whether or not you have earned income.
